EAD Paralegal Appointed Vice-Chair of Junior Lawyers Division Ingrid Bialozynska, a paralegal at Liverpool law firm EAD Solicitors has been appointed to the position of Vice Chair at the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division (JLD). Ingrid was elected to the position by members of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division (including paralegals, trainee solicitors and solicitors with up to five years post-qualification experience). Ingrid has today taken up her new role and will hold the position for one year. She will now act as a representative of all junior lawyers in the Merseyside area. Ingrid said: "I put myself forward for the position as I enjoy organising events and socialising with other young lawyers- attending JLD events is a fantastic way to meet peers from other law firms. "The votes were cast through an online election and when I found out I'd been elected to Vice Chair, I was delighted. "My role will be to assist the Chair in the overall running of the Junior Lawyers Division, organising events and helping to promote the JLD within the Merseyside region. I am very excited about this role and can't wait to get started." Ingrid started at EAD Solicitors in July 2008 as a paralegal. In September, she will take up her new position as a trainee solicitor in the firm. EAD Solicitors' Managing Partner Garry Abrams said: "I'm delighted that Ingrid has been elected. She is enthusiastic about the law and dedicated to the regional community, so I have no doubts that she'll do a good job."
