EAD Solicitors shortlisted for Personal Injury team of the Year
EAD Solicitors LLP has been shortlisted for the Personal Injury team of the Year award at the Liverpool Law Society's annual Legal Awards, it was announced today.
The winner of the award will be announced at the Legal Awards Ceremony on 27th June 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool city centre.
In the past year, EAD's Personal Injury department has continued to provide legal advice to major trade unions and private clients, dealing with all their accident and disease claims. The department frequently handles claims for catastrophic injuries where awards exceed £1,000,000.
Within the department, the clinical negligence team in particular has almost tripled the volume of work undertaken in the past year. Partners Helen Barry and Pamela Williams have benefitted the team with their involvement in high profile cases that are widely reported in the media.
Senior Partner and Head of the Personal Injury team Mike Sexton said: "We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the award. Our Personal Injury department has come a long way in the past year alone, and being shortlisted for this award demonstrates that.
"We are dealing with a much higher volume of cases than ever before, but our focus remains on client care and getting the right result for each and every one of the injured people who come to us."
