Charles has been a Partner in the Wills and Probate Department at EAD Solicitors since 1993 and also acts as a Professional Deputy in Court of Protection matters, advising lay Deputies and their families in looking after the affairs of persons suffering a disability, whether they are elderly relatives or claimants in medical negligence or catastrophic injury claims. Charles has dealt with several of these cases where settlements have been up to several million pounds in value.
Charles also acts for claimants and defendants in inheritance disputes and endeavours to deal with such matters sensitively and pragmatically. In addition he is the firm's money laundering officer.
Charles qualified as a solicitor in 1973. He is a committee member of the Merseyside Medico Legal.
