Professional Negligence

When employment disputes arise you will need the best advice.  There are often technical legal questions and if a claim arises the time limits to lodge a case are short, usually only 3 months.  If you are defending a claim, there are also strict time limits and a need to comply with strict Tribunal rules and procedures.

When you receive employment advice from a representative you trust that they will get it right, but things do not always work out as you would hope or expect.  Sadly, a negative outcome can be because the representative has been negligent, meaning that your case fails or if you are an individual you did not receive the correct level of compensation.  This could include a low value settlement or you might have been advised to sign a Settlement Agreement for a very low figure.

As a business you might believe that in defending a claim your interests were not protected, so that you end up with a Tribunal Judgment against you and no doubt a substantial bill.
