About Steve

I have been a Partner at EAD for nearly 25 years and Senior Partner since 2011. During my time at EAD I have pursued many high value and complex cases and achieved a number of awards of compensation exceeding 1 million pounds. As well as being a solicitor I am also interested in Practice Management – especially Compliance and Risk Management. I was President of the Liverpool Law Society in 2012, I am a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a member of the Law Society’s Law Management Group. I have a very busy Social Media presence and blog regularly on legal matters.

Education

I studied Law at Liverpool University before attending the College of Law, Chester.

Greatest Professional Achievement

Achieving damages of 2 million pounds for a child who was severely brain damaged at birth.

Greatest Personal Achievement

Being elected President of Liverpool Law Society for 2012.

After Work

When not in the office I am an improving amateur photographer. I am a keen follower of Everton FC, an avid tweeter and probably spend too much time on Facebook and LinkedIn.

I am also a Trustee of the North West Legal Support Group which helps organisations that offer free legal advice and assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for lawyers.
