I joined EAD in late 2009 having previously trained and qualified at a niche clinical negligence firm in Cheshire. I run a varied, low to high value caseload of medical claims including those arising from psychiatric, neurological, obstetric and orthopaedic injuries. I also have a particular interest in dental claims, assisting clients who have suffered due to failed veneer, crown, bridge and implant treatment, supervised neglect, nerve damage, incorrect orthodontic treatment and undiagnosed gum disease. I am also therefore responsible for assessing and conducting the majority of our dental cases.
I graduated with aBSc Psychology and then BLegSc (Bachelor of Legal Science), both at Queen’s University, Belfast before completing the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, Chester.
Greatest Professional Achievement
I find my job very rewarding and often very humbling. It has also been very satisfying to have played an integral role in developing EAD’s specialism in dental negligence at a relatively early stage in my career.
Greatest Personal Achievement
Qualifying as a solicitor after many years of studying.
I enjoy a spot of retail therapy and also try to get back home to Northern Ireland to catch up with my family and friends there (and to indulge in my mum’s home cooking!) as often as possible.
