I have a particular interest and experience in pursuing claims for victims of asbestos-related illnesses of all types including; malignant mesothelioma of the utmost severity, lung cancer, asbestosis and pleural thickening. In addition to working to obtain compensation for victims suffering from asbestos exposure, I also specialise in dealing with vibration-induced injuries, noise-induced hearing loss, occupational dermatitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and repetitive strain injuries.
I studied Law at the University of Warwick and attended the College of Law in Chester before joining EAD Solicitors in April 2006 as a trainee solicitor.
Greatest Professional Achievement
Without a shadow of a doubt, working hard to become Partner and head of EAD’s Industrial Disease department at the age of 29. I’ve always been a firm believer that if you put your clients first and do a great job for them, your professional rewards will follow. That philosophy has seen, I’m very pleased and proud to say, some great results for my clients over the years, and long may it continue!
Greatest Personal Achievement
This is a tricky one, just because I have so few. It may sound cheesy, but my work on behalf of my clients always comes first for me. I would have to say though, that hiking the Inca trail from Cuzco to Machu Picchu in Peru and reaching altitudes of nearly 14,000ft, would be right up there. It was very tough and very demanding but exhilarating at the same time.
When not in the office I can be found on a tennis court either playing tennis or watching Andy Murray, as part of the Barmy Army at Prenton Park, or at a heavy metal concert. Or a combination of all three!
