About Sean

I began working at EAD as a member of the Private Client department, with this I handled all aspects of non-contentious private client law, including; trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney, conveyancing and general Landlord and Tenant enquiries. In 2013 I transferred to the Clinical Negligence department.

As well as our medical negligence deparment, I am also part of EAD’s Hillsborough Inquest team. I feel privileged to be part of the Hillsborough team; hopefully I can contribute to bringing justice to the victims and their families.

Education

I originally studied Criminal Justice at John Moore’s University thereafter attending the College of Law in Chester to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course, achieving a Distinction in both courses.

Greatest Professional Achievement

In my short career I have enjoyed meeting new clients and building up a substantial case load with the help of my colleagues at EAD. I am currently working as part of the dedicated Hillsborough team at EAD which is something I am very proud to be a part of as it is a subject many people from the city and beyond have a passion for.

Greatest Personal Achievement

I enjoy long distance running and have completed the Liverpool marathon twice and half marathon half a dozen times. I enjoy mountain climbing and have also completed the 3 peaks challenge; climbing Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis within 24 hours and also raised £5k for Marie Curie climbing Kilimanjaro. As well as this I enjoy travelling to different places and experiencing diffferent cultures such as taking part in the running of the bulls in Pamplona.

After Work

Outside of work I can be found watching Everton Football Club having owned a season ticket at Goodison Park for over 20 years. I also enjoy long distance running, competing in the Liverpool half Marathon and Liverpool Team 5K.
