I started working for EAD at the beginning of January 1990. I had previously worked for a firm called Silverbeck & Co for about 7 years. They merged with a firm called Edwards & Co. Unfortunately the merger didn’t work and the 2 firms went their separate ways. Silverbecks became Silverbeck Rymer and Edwards & Co became EAD. I joined EAD soon afterwards having seen their great potential.
The usual GCSE’s and a Distinction in BTEC National Diploma Business Studies. This included a law module, which is where my interest in law arose.
Greatest Professional Achievement
Tom Doherty and I dealt with a quadriplegia case many years ago. A three year old boy was playing in a close with a ball, the ball went past him into the road and the child followed the ball and was hit by a car which caused a catastrophic injury. I followed Tom’s lead and we eventually got a fantastic settlement for the child and his mum. Sadly the child died a few years later. I learned a lot about Personal Injury law from this case.
Greatest Personal Achievement
Other than raising 2 fantastic boys, my best is yet to come!
When not at EAD I can be found spending time with my family and friends.
