Actions Against Medical Accidents. (AVMA)

Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) are a charitable organisation for patient safety and justice, they support people affected by medical accidents and those who have suffered from medical negligence.

AvMA was originally established in 1982 as ‘Action for the Victims of Medical Accidents’ by AvMA’s founder, Peter Ransley. In 2003 they changed their name to ‘Action against Medical Accidents’. 2013 marks their 30th anniversary, since its inception AvMA has provided advice and support to over 100,000 people affected by medical accidents. They also had a significant impact in bringing about massive changes to the way that the legal system deals with clinical negligence and in moving patient safety higher up the agenda in the UK.

AvMA work alongside medical experts and endorse law firms who excel in medical negligence claims in order to help guide those who have suffered to what is best for them and their families. AvMA have recognised EAD solicitors excellence in medical negligence and have added EAD solicitors to their list of AvMA accredited law practises.

What others say about us

Extremely happy with the outcome of my Personal Injury Claim and can only thank Paul McCarthy and his team at EAD Solicitors and also Tim Trotman my barrister arranged by EAD, for all their work and efforts on my behalf. As such I would highly recommend EAD to anyone in need of their service. Once again thanks to all involved.
