EAD acts on behalf of individuals and businesses, and when providing advice it is often necessary to represent our clients, for example before the Employment Tribunal. EAD Solicitors undertake advocacy for our clients, including representing our clients at lengthy hearings dealing with complex legal areas, for example sex discrimination and maternity cases. When you instruct EAD you will not receive separate charges for advocacy, for example from a barrister. EAD Solicitors will act on your behalf, and if this is on a No Win – No Fee basis our contract with you will include advocacy services. Every case must be reviewed on its merits, but the assumption we have when we act is that we will be next to you when providing advice and also if necessary when you are in a Tribunal Hearing.
As a business or an individual you may be involved in a claim before the Employment Tribunal or in another Court, and you might be representing yourself. If a business or individual would seek to hire an Advocate for a hearing then EAD is available to act, and we will always be competitive as regards the resulting costs.
You may also be a Solicitor or another body which represents individuals or businesses. You may not require our involvement at every stage of a claim, but if you would like to instruct EAD to provide advice and representation, please contact EAD so that such a matter can be subject to discussion and hopefully agreement.
