When Uninsured Drivers are involved in Road Traffic Accident, it’s a headache for us all. Recent reports estimate a third of drivers in some areas are driving illegally without car insurance. If you have been unfortunate enough to have had an accident involving an uninsured driver, either by a hit and run, or you know they were uninsured; you can still make a claim through the Motors Insurers’ Bureau (MIB).
The MIB is an organisation, which was set up to meet claims on behalf of victims of road traffic accidents, where motorists were either uninsured, or could not be traced. The MIB will only compensate where it would have been a legal requirement to insure the vehicle, which was involved in the accident. Bicycles are not covered under the scheme.

Extremely happy with the outcome of my Personal Injury Claim and can only thank Paul McCarthy and his team at EAD Solicitors and also Tim Trotman my barrister arranged by EAD, for all their work and efforts on my behalf. As such I would highly recommend EAD to anyone in need of their service. Once again thanks to all involved.
