After nearly 40 years of writing Wills. EAD Wills and Probate Solicitors wanted to give something more to the charities they have been working with. Every year EAD’s Wills and Probate Solicitors offer free Will writing services to many charities and we always ask when clients take part to consider leaving a Legacy to that charity. But then we thought what about the other 51 weeks of the year when we don’t offer that service for the Charities. So EAD decided to create a Legacies directory to remind clients that a lot of charities rely on the support of legacies to continue the hard work the provide year on year. The charities who have registered to be on EAD’s legacies directory, have been placed on their free of charge. If you would like your charity or a charity you support to be place on the legacies directory, please get in touch. To chose a charity please click on the box below.
Charities are there to help people or causes that need vital support. The saying you can’t take it with you when you’re dead really is true; unless you are Tutankhamun.
Charities rely on donations from the public in order for them to be able to help whoever or whatever their cause is dedicated to.
If there is a charity or charitable cause that is close to your heart; then once your loved ones have received their share of your estate, why not leave a little something to charity when writing your Will.
Leaving charitable legacies when writing your Will can help ensure that the charity you are donating to is able to continue their work after you’re gone.
If you’re struggling to choose a worthy cause, then have a look at our list of registered charities to help you decide who should benefit from a charitable legacies in your Will.
