The Perse School, established in 1615, is one of the country’s leading independent day schools. In its near 400-year history, the school had gained a national reputation for academic excellence and extra-curricular achievement. Its alumni include two Nobel Prize winners for Science, the literary critic F.R Leavis, the theatre director Sir Peter Hall, and guitarist Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
At all stages of the educational journey, pupils learn from both their teachers and their peers. The Perse strives to create a talented yet diverse pupil community where children thrive in each other’s company and appreciate different perspectives. Means-tested bursaries are available and ensure that children from all socio-economic backgrounds benefit from a Perse education.
